PLAYMAKERS, the young stars of Portland’s Royal Manor Theatre, are back on stage tomorrow and Saturday with a brace of one-act plays.
In The name of My Mother, by young playwright Lily Staff is directed by Graham Masters, and is a sensitive melodrama about the contrasting lives of a mother and her two daughters.
The second play, But Yesterday, was penned by successful playwright Jimmy Chinn and is directed by Mark Sampson-Vincent. It follows a man’s journey as he sets off on a quest for honesty and truth.
Performances are at the Royal manor Theatre in Fortuneswell, Portland on March 21 and 22 at 7pm.
