Kepow brings On the Edge! to Shipton Gorge village hall today and to Halstock hall on Sunday.
Essentially a comedy with touching scenarios, On the Edge! explores those moments in life when we are just that – on the edge.
From falling in love and leaving home, to getting a job and bungee jumping, this fast-moving show explores it all.
Formed in 1991, Kepow are now considered one of Europe’s leading improvisation and mask-based theatre companies.
Regularly touring around the world, members of the company have also worked with some of Britain’s leading theatres and theatre companies, including the National Theatre, the Royal Court Theatre and Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre.
Using a combination of sketches, monologues, puppetry and masks, Kepow create funny and poignant scenes in this show, which has successfully toured across the UK and around the world. Both shows are at 7.30pm.
Kepow Theatre will also be running a theatre skills workshop at Halstock village hall on Sunday, April 6, from 3pm to 5pm.
