Following a hugely successful tour including performances at Edinburgh Fringe and other prestigious venues around the UK, Teasel Theatre Company’s witty and magical hit family show, Grisly Tales from Tumblewater, is back on the road and heading to the South West for two dates during the Easter holidays.
It’s at Dorchester Arts Centre on Wednesday at 3pm and the Marine Theatre, Lyme Regis on Thursday, also at 3pm with ‘stay and play’ after the show.
The high energy adventure (for all ages eight-plus) welcomes you to Tumblewater – not that it’s a welcoming place unless you’re an undertaker or an umbrella salesman.
Caspian Prye, the twisted land owner, controls everything and everyone, even the police.
Into this world stumbles fearless orphan Daniel Dorey, armed only with his wits and a satchel of spine-chilling stories.
Can he bring down Caspian Prye? Can he rescue the girl in the distant room? Can he even stay alive long enough to tell his tales?
Go along and find out!
