Show of Hands’ Miranda Sykes to appear at Folk on the Quay Festival
SHOW of Hands’ Miranda Sykes is appearing at the Folk on the Quay Festival with Rex Preston on Sunday, June 29.
They will perform a 7pm festival fringe gig at the beautiful old United Reformed Church in Skinner Street, with its fine natural acoustics.
With an enviable pedigree, spine-tingling vocalist who has brilliantly enriched the Show of Hands sound for the past nine years while former Scoville Units band member Rex is recognised as one of the finest young mandolin players in the UK.
With Show of Hands not performing until this autumn, Miranda is free to explore this exciting fusion of double bass and mandolin.
