A PUPPET Making Club for all ages begins on June 17 in Bridport and runs until July 15.

It is being held at the Lyric Theatre in Barrack Street and gives people a chance to create their personal puppets from start to finish.

The new term of Puppet Making starts again on Tuesday June 17, with a course of five Tuesday evening sessions from 5pm to 6:30pm.

This course is suitable for anyone aged over 12 who fancies getting creative while having fun bringing a character to life.

There are a maximum of 10 places so people should book early.

Learn how to make your very own puppet over the course of five weeks, led by puppet maker Holly Miller upstairs in the Lyric’s puppet making workshop.

Those wishing to try out the course are welcome to come to the first session as a taster (£6) which must be booked in advance.

To book a place call or email The Lyric on 01308 423951 or email admin@the-lyric.com with names and a contact telephone number to register.

It's £30 for a five-week term. Materials are included, but if you have some old newspapers bring them along.
