ANTHING Goes at All Saints’ School in Wyke Regis, Weymouth tomorrow night.
Weymouth Choral Society is presenting a packed programme of songs from the world of entertainment and musical theatre, from jazz classics to well-loved favourites from the shows.
The choral society will be joined by special guests The Portland Singers, who will add to the variety of the evening with their own selections, and members of the Dorset Youth Singers who will provide some solo interludes.
Louise Dukes will accompany both choirs and also entertain with instrumental items on her piano accordion.
The programme contains gems from the shows of Rodgers and Hammerstein, Leonard Bernstein, Jerome Kern and Andrew Lloyd Webber, with swinging and bluesy jazz numbers made famous by great artists such as Ella Fitzgerald, Frank Sinatra and Judy Garland.
Toe-tappers and tear-jerkers, nostalgia and sheer good fun – this programme will provide all this and more.
There will be a retiring collection in aid of Save the Children.
Tickets cost £10 or are free for under 16s.
They are available on the door or in advance by calling 01305 775644, from Wyke Regis Library, Dorchester Tourist Information Centre or from Harmony Music shop.
The show starts at 7.30pm.
