GET the picnic rugs out and enjoy a spot of outdoor Shakespeare.

Dorchester Arts welcomes Miracle Theatre back to Maumbury Rings with a production of The Tempest tomorrow, supported by Dorchester Town Council.

Miracle is celebrating 35 years of producing engaging, inventive and enjoyable theatre by bringing together a team of talented collaborators, past and present. This fresh and musical adaptation of Shakespeare’s timeless play will delight audiences of all ages in this perfect summer setting.

With the original text respectfully shaken and stirred, director Bill Scott liberally applies Miracle’s offbeat and humorous style to this classic which has original music by Jim Carey.

Audiences are welcome to bring a picnic and refreshments of hot chocolate, teas and a range of homemade cakes are available to buy an hour before the performance.

The play starts at 7.30pm and refreshments are available from 6.30pm. For more information and to book tickets visit dorchesterarts.org.uk Artsreach is bringing Miracle Theatre’s production of The Tempest to more venues in Dorset later this month and next month.
