THE Barcodes are ready for a rip roaring blues night at Dorchester Arts Centre tomorrow from 7.30pm.
A big draw at a number of clubs and festivals across the UK, the group have recorded five albums for Note Records and come with high commendations from Bill Wyman and Blues in Britain magazine.
This much-celebrated blues trio consist of Bob Haddrell (vocals, piano, Hammond organ), Alan Glen (vocals, guitar, harmonica) and Dino Coccia on drums.
Their biographies read like an AtoZ of the Blues, from Art Themen and Jeff Beck to The Yardbirds and Zoot Money.
Tom Hopkins, the MC of the regular DA Blues nights at Dorchester Arts, said: “We aim to provide our audiences with high quality music, played by professional musicians, at reasonable ticket prices, in a comfortable and intimate 90 all-seater environment.”
