Grease is the word – tickets have gone on sale for Bridport Musical Theatre Company’s latest production.
High school drama, summer romance and rock and roll will be coming to the Bridport Arts Centre this month courtesy of the award winning theatre group.
Playing the leading roles of Danny and Sandy, made famous by John Travolta and Olivia Newton John in the 1978 film, are Billy Matthews and Lauren Glover, supported by a talented young cast.
BMTC’s past productions include popular Broadway and West End classics such as ‘The Boyfriend’, ‘Anything Goes’, ‘42nd Street’ and ‘Sweet Charity’.
Last year’s production of ‘Thoroughly Modern Millie’ won the group a NODA nomination for Best Musical in the South West Region and an achievement award. Grease will be performed at the Bridport Arts Centre from Tuesday, August 26.
