FANTASTIC footwork will be on display when the Riverdance 20th Anniversary Tour comes to Dorset.
The show, which first burst into the public’s heart at the Eurovision Song Contest in Dublin in 1994, will be at the Bournemouth International Centre from September 16 to 21.
Producer Moya Doherty said: “The success of Riverdance across the whole world has gone beyond our wildest dreams, The fact that the show continues to draw and excite audiences is a tribute to every dancer, singer, musician, staff and crew member who have dedicated themselves to the show. This 20th anniversary tour is a thank you to our UK audiences and a celebration of what has been an incredible journey across two decades.”
Composed by Bill Whelan, produced by Moya Doherty and directed by John McColgan, Riverdance has performed across the UK where it has been experienced by over 2.9 million people in well over 1000 performances in 18 cities. The worldwide TV audience for Riverdance is in excess of two billion people.
