Acclaimed poet Wendy Cope will read a number of her works at The Marine Theatre in Lyme Regis.
Wendy Cope is an award-winning poet, noted for her excellent wit and harmonious relationship between poetry and real life, and has been writing for 25 years.
Her poems include the acclaimed ‘Bloody Men’ and ‘Making Cocoa for Kingsley Amis’ and she was awarded a Michael Braude award for light verse (American Academy of Arts and Letters) and an OBE in 2010.
The afternoon will be rounded off with a question and answer session plus an after-show book signing.
The reading will take place on 20th September and begin at 3pm.
