Wille & the Bandits
ECLECTIC musicians Wille & the Bandits will bring their DIY success story to the Bridport Arts Centre on Saturday.
The critically-acclaimed trio cover a wide range of genres, from rock to world music and blues and roots – and are well-known for creating a huge sound.
Wille’s lap steel and guitar playing, along with the rhythmic diversity of percussionist Andrew Naumann and the sonic range of Matt Brooks’ upright bass and six string electric bass – help the trio continue to keep audiences guessing.
The band have toured with Deep Purple, Joe Bonamassa, The John Butler Trio and Status Quo – as well as reaching number two in the UK blues charts and playing countless sets at major music festivals.
