COMEDIAN Seann Walsh will be making Bridport laugh this week as part of his UK tour.

Seann, who appears on E4’s comedy quiz show Virtually Famous and Never Mind the Buzzcocks, will be at the Bridport Arts centre on Friday.

After an amazingly successful autumn run, Seann is touring the UK with his smash-hit show ‘28’.

He has managed to search deep inside himself to find the inner strength to get out of bed and all the way into his support act’s car, parked just outside his flat JUST FOR YOU.

Before you commend him too much for this act of heroism, be aware he will sleep in the car.

In his last show ‘The Lie-In King’, 2013 Foster’s Edinburgh Comedy Award nominee, Seann was living alone and trying to sort himself out. At 28 years of age he has returned with the aptly named ‘28’ where he is now living with his girlfriend, and she is trying to sort him out.

Star of BBC1’s ‘Live At The Apollo’ and ‘Michael McIntryre’s Comedy Roadshow’, Channel 4’s ‘Stand Up For The Week’, and Dave’s ‘Argumental’, Seann is a charming and charismatic natural born observational storyteller, and one of the most frighteningly precocious talents to emerge from the UK comedy circuit in years.

Seann was a regular face on our TV screens last summer after securing his place as a team captain on E4’s brand new comedy quiz show Virtually Famous.

A further two series are planned for 2015. Other recent TV appearances include: Channel 4’s Comedy Gala Live At The 02 2012 and 2013, Never Mind The Buzzcocks (BBC2), The Jonathan Ross Show (ITV), Celebrity Juice (ITV2), Mock The Week (BBC2), Sweat the Small Stuff (BBC3), 8 Out Of 10 Cats (Channel 4) and Alan Carr: Chatty Man (Channel 4) Within two years of his first comedy performance, Seann was the winner of the Leice-ster Mercury Comedian of the Year. Shortly after other accolades included Chortle Best Break-through Act Nominee 2010 and Chortle Best Compere Nominee 2011.

Seann Walsh has also starred in his own series ‘Seann Walsh World’ (Comedy Central) and is quickly becoming a well-respected comedy actor performing in ‘Big Bad World’ (Comedy Central).

His debut DVD Seann Walsh: Seann to be Wild was recorded at Hammersmith Apollo and released in 2013 by Universal Pictures UK.

The gig starts at 8pm. Contact the arts centre for tickets.
