*DOCK at Portland Marina for a festival celebrating fine fare and boats tomorrow and Sunday from 10am to 5pm and with live music tonight from 7pm.

Fish and Ships 2015 will build on the success of last year and will include local boat and art craft, live music and the best of Dorset's fine foods - from cheese, wines and ciders, to Portland Oysters and fresh fish.

Nigel Bloxham from the Crab House will be running more oyster demos and the event is fully supported by Dorset Food & Drink.

*THERE'S a rare chance to see 'Zayn' perform with One Direction in Weymouth on Sunday.

*SPRING will be in the air at the Loders Spring Fayre at the Loders Arms on Sunday from 12pm to 8pm.

The village, near Bridport, promises traditional entertainment including food, tug'o'war, stalls, displays and children's entertainment.

*GARDENERS will be rubbing their hands together in glee if there's some good weather this weeked.

They might want to get inspiration from the Mapperton Specialist Charity Plant Fair at Mapperton Gardens from 10am to 4pm on Sunday.

There will be more than 30 stalls of specialist nurseries from the South and West of England. Entry is £3 and includes admission to the gardens.

*HEAR some familiar sounding music at Lady St Mary Church in Wareham tomorrow evening from 7pm to 10pm.

Wareham Town Band present music from Stage and Screen in this concert to raise money for local charity Footsteps for Roxy. Tickets are available from Farwells newsagents, North Street, Wareham, for £7.50.
