GALLERY On The Square, Poundbury is currently host to a vibrant new collection of paintings by Weymouth painter Angela Goodman.
The Dorset cliff studies and seascapes, which are largely the work of the last 12 months, are characterised by the broad treatment and bold colour that are typical of Angela’s work.
She does not have to travel to find inspiration, because the coastline around Weymouth Bay, White Nothe and Lulworth is a constant theme in her pictures.
Gallery owner David Murdock said: “Angela is one of our favourite Dorset painters, and her first show here last year was one of our favourites of 2014, so we are absolutely delighted to have a whole new collection of pictures from her.”
Gallery On The Square is at Queen Mother Square, Poundbury DT1 3BL. The Angela Goodman exhibition continues until June 22.
