*GET loud with the first Out Loud festival in Weymouth this weekend.

Audiences will be entertained with performances from singers, dancers and musicians in Weymouth town centre.

The fun starts at 10.45am tomorrow when the festival is opened and continues throughout the afternoon with the final acts taking to stages set up in New Bond Street, St Mary Street and St Thomas Street.

The Voice star Keedie Green will be the headlining artist and more acts added to the line-up as well as artists that have never before performed in Weymouth.

Out Loud Festival’s line-up includes some local favourites including the voice of cool swing himself Darron Garnett, shanty singers Dorset Wrecks, up-beat Weymouth Ukeleleans as well as artists that will be performing in Weymouth for the very first time. Manhattan Dragon, a four piece rock band from Bournemouth, will be filling the streets with original songs as well as favourites from the likes of Foo Fighters and Manic Street Preachers.

*THE scenic village of Sutton Poyntz is hosting an open gardens event this weekend.

Some 17 gardens in the village will be open from 12pm to 5pm tomorrow and Sunday.

Entry will be by programme available in advance from local venues and on the day in the Mission Hall, £5 per adult or £8 for both days. Proceeds from this event will go to Cancer Research UK and Water Aid. Parking will be free.

*PACK a hamper for a Picnic in the Park in the Borough Gardens, Dorchester, from 12pm to 4pm.

The free event will include music, a licensed bar, activities for children, a bouncy castle, popcorn and candy floss.

*PEOPLE will be making tracks to Bovington Tank Museum for Tankfest 2015 this weekend.

Experience the best display of historic moving armour in the world bringing the story of tanks, tank crew and soldiers to life.

Historic vehicle displays will include vehicles making their show debuts, with a number of old favourites returning to the arena. An original Second World War spitfire will also be flying.

*VILLAGERS will be hoping for sunshine for the summer fayre in Stratton, near Dorchester, on Sunday from 2pm to 5pm.

The fair will feature the Dolphin Marching Band, ferret racing, a coconut shy and more. Entry is free.

*TURN back the clock and grab a bargain with the Bridport Vintage Market on Sunday from 10am to 4pm.

The market is situated on the St Michael's Trading Estate and includes an antique centre, stalls for furniture, fabric, flowers and food along with all things vintage.

*CHEER on some wacky antics with an It's a Knockout competition at Lodmoor Country Park in Weymouth which will raise money for charity Diverse Abilities. The action takes place from 1.30pm.
