A STORY session full of wild myth and music is coming to Bridport.

The Hag of the Land, a tale of a woman so old, so harsh, so darkly powerful that you fear to look at her will entrance the audience at the Story Cafe, at Bridport Arts Cente on Friday (24).

Storytellers Lisa Schneidau, Ronnie Conboy and Sue Charman from the South Devon Wood Sisters – with musician Laura Salmon – have spent many years working with wild myth and music in the belief that stories can change our lives.

They bring us an evening of ancient and modern stories, woven with ballads and snatches of songs.

Doors open at 7pm and the storytelling begins at 7.30pm.

The evening is suitable for adults and older children.

Contact the Bridport Arts Centre for tickets.
