DORCHESTER Youth Theatre is performing a thriller set in paradise following a week of workshops.

Its Combined Arts Week (CAW) is being held this week and culminates in the performance of Meltdown! at Thomas Hardye School theatre on Friday and Saturday.

Students spent the week rehearsing the play, which tells the story of 'the crime of the century on a holiday island paradise'.

The performance is at 7.30pm on Friday and 2.30pm on Saturday.

Dorchester Youth Theatre is promising drama, comedy, lots of songs and great fun.

Carol Burgess, of the group, said: "Come with us to an island of paradise and watch the crime of the century unfold."

Tickets are available on the door. It costs £6 for adults and £3 for children and students.
