ENTERTAINMENT in Greenhill Gardens, Weymouth, has proved a hit so far - and there's more on the way.

Darron Garnett recently captivated the crowds in the seafront gardens.

Billed as ‘The Voice of Cool Swing’, he sang the unforgettable songs of Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra, Michael Buble and Nat King Cole.

His 'cheeky crooner' style and relaxed performance was a hit with the audience as they basked in the summer sun overlooking Weymouth Bay.

The performance was a free summer event arranged by the Friends of Greenhill Gardens.

A spokesman from the Friends group said: “Darron’s performance was amazing and the crowds loved him. He has been booked to appear next year on the bandstand.”

*There's more entertainment in the gardens on Sunday (30) when singer Tony Lowe will take to the bandstand at 2pm.

In this Friends of Greenhill Gardens event he will be singing the songs of Frank Sinatra.
