A SIZZLING quintet and a sultry vintage singer are on their way to the Bridport Arts Centre this weekend.

Lucy Moon and her Paper Moon Band will be at the Bridport Arts Centre on Saturday September 26 from 7.30pm.

This swinging vintage inspired quintet is bursting with energetic swing, effortless repartee and classic tunes from the swing era and beyond.

The band was created with swing dancers in mind whilst offering rhythms that will convince even the most determined non-dancer to shake a toe or two.

When singer Lucy Moon claims ‘It Don’t Mean A Thing if You Ain’t Got That Swing’ she’s not joking.

The Paper Moon Band’s eyes are firmly on the dance floor and if you aren’t on it Lindy Hopping yourself into exhaustion they will be seriously disappointed.

They’ve picked some of the best loved swing classics from the 20s to the 50s to perform.

The Arts Centre will be laid out cabaret style so that there will be plenty of space for dancing.
