HAVE an ABBA Merry Christmas in Dorset when a top tribute act sweeps into town this festive season.
Thank You For the Music is at the Electric Palace, Bridport, on Saturday, December 5 from 8pm.
Dancing Queens and Super Troupers are invited to join 'a platform-pounding, flares-flappin’, jive-talkin’, disco-dazzlin’, boob-tube-bustin’ Abba Merry Christmas Party.
Billed as the world’s longest-running ABBA concert show, the cast of Thank You for the Music are celebrating the trade-marked show’s 22nd anniversary this year.
The production’s lycra-tight harmonies and superb musicianship have been delighting live music fans for longer than Bjorn, Benny, Agnetha and Frida did during the 70s and 80s, according to its producer Michael Taylor.
The all-star ABBA revue invites music fans to enjoy a night of non-stop hits: Dancing Queen, Super Trouper, Mamma Mia, Thank You for the Music, Take A Chance on Me, The Winner Takes It All, Chiquitita, I Have A Dream, Gimme, Gimme, Gimme, Waterloo . . and more.
