CELEBRATE the coming of Christmas with A Rock ‘N’ Roll Xmas Party at the Electric Palace in Bridport.

Earl Jackson and Stompin’ Dave’s Band will be providing the entertainment along with DJ Greg’s Greats 78s on Saturday November 28.

Dance the night away to the music of Chuck Berry, Little Richard, Jerry Lee Lewis, Elvis Presley and other classic 1950s rock ‘n’ roll.

Based in Nottingham, Earl Jackson is a well known figure on the British rock n' roll circuit and has been in great demand for many years.

He has made appearances on BBC radio and TV including the Jonathan Ross Show.

Earl is currently appearing across Europe as Chuck Berry in the popular theatre show Rockin’ On Heavens Door.

Born of Jamaican parents in Lambeth in 1964, Earl was heavily influenced by gospel music.

Much of his charisma and on-stage confidence comes from performing before ten thousand people or more at various gospel events.

Earl’s voice coupled with his outstanding guitar playing bring to life pounding rhythms of rock ‘n’ roll.

Bridport-based Stompin’ Dave Allen has been performing regularly with Earl on keyboard and guitar the past few years.

Dave has been described as 'a master of all kinds of American roots music…a formidable musician and a true original.' by the Daily Telegraph. Since teaming up with Earl the two are proving to be a magic combination and have given barnstorming performances at rock ‘n’ roll clubs, and festivals across England and on the continent.

Dave’s band includes the vastly experienced Graham V. Bundy on drums.

Graham, a professional drummer in the USA for 20 years, worked regularly with rockabilly luminaries such as Rockabilly Hall Of Fame members Dale Hawkins, author of swamp-rock classic Susie Q, and Billy Lee Riley.

Graham has also performed with Chuck Berry, and performed at The Grand Ole Opry. Also appearing is Jules Bushell on bass from The Thunderbridge Bluegrass Boys.

Greg's Greats 78s, also known as DJ Greg Butler, is doo-lally about 78rpm records from bygone times.

He is the main man of The Shellac Collective, who play music from bygone times at events, festivals, and radio stations across the UK.
