PUSS in Boots the pantomime will be performed at Bournemouth School for Girls this week.

Twynham Panto Group has been performing panto for many years and this is their 20th anniversary panto.

Performances are from Thursday to Saturday at 7.30pm. There is a matinee on Saturday at 3pm.

Written and directed by local Ken Dale, this is an original story which combines all the features of traditional pantomime with modern twists. This story sees the Princess trying to escape from the ogre's clutches while the King - with the aid of Twitter and Facebook seeks a suitable suitor for her.

Tom, Dick and Harry compete for their rightful inheritance. But will Camilla the Dame find love? … and the Fairy isn’t quite what you would expect either.

Ken said: “I like to include references to date technology and current music and dance in my stories.

"We have adult and children playing characters and dancing together which gives a real family feel to the panto”

Proceeds from the performance will be donated to the school.

Tickets are available from www.twynhampantogroup.co.uk or by calling the box office on 07473574656.

Tickets cost £6 for adults and £4 for children.
