LEGENDARY musicians, singers and songwriters are performing the music of the Moody Blues in the new stage show Legend of a Band.

Drummer Gordy Marshall and keyboard player Paul Bliss come direct to Weymouth Pavilion from performing on the Moody Blues tour.

They are joined by 10CC’s current lead singer Mick Wilson, Westlife guitarist Tim Maple, Joss Stone bass player Malcolm Moore and saxophonist and singer Lindsay Goodhand.

Pete Tobit from GRT Entertainments promises impeccable performances of classic Moody Blues hits by artists with astounding musical backgrounds.

Pete said: “Both Gordy and Paul have performed with the Moody Blues for more than 20 years, playing the world’s most prestigious venues.

“As well as being the current lead singer with 10CC, Mick’s incredible vocals have also featured with likes of Lionel Richie, Kylie Minogue and Smokey Robinson.

“Tim’s credits include a long list of hit singles – including composer for Celine Dion’s Think Twice, while Malcolm when not recording hits with the likes of One Direction and Alison Moyet, is a mainstay of West End musicals.

Pete said: “It takes incredibly talented performers to do justice to the acclaimed music of the Moody Blues. Legend is a word not used lightly in the title of this incredible production.”

Songs featured are the lavish Nights in White Satin, number one hit Go Now and many other classic Moody Blues songs.

Pete describes a rendition of Eve of the War from Jeff Wayne’s War of the Worlds album as ‘show stealing’.
