AS PURBECK Art Weeks Festival (PAW) moves into its final week there is still plenty to soak up.

Visit artists' studios with more than 40 open studios this year as well as the collective exhibition at Rollington Barn, where you can see the work of more than 100 PAW artists.

Open studios are spread across Purbeck so make sure you get a free brochure with the pull out map to guide you.

There are some inspiring ‘not be missed’ events to enjoy in the evening. You can enjoy a drink and listen to poetry at the Square and Compass, Worth Matravers, on June 6, celebrate a colourful partnership with a wide range of community groups on June 7, learn more about the Slade School of Painters in Purbeck on June 9 and be inspired by the brilliant inner city brass players concert on Saturday June 11.

Visitors can explore a selection of open studios is by Swanage Railway’s historic train. You can park your car at Norden Station – stop off in Corfe Castle with all its Galleries and artist’s open studios; you can then continue your journey to Swanage where you will find a range of galleries, more artist’s open studios and delicious teas and lunches by the sea – and the new swirling fish ceramic wall panel made by children from local schools – which joins the Tree of Life and Dinosaur on Swanage sea front.

While you are walking around have a look at all the Midsummer Dreams shop window displays, and support them by voting for your favourite online.

See purbeckartweeks.co.uk for more information, or call in at the Wareham or Swanage Tourist Information Centres where you can also pick up a free festival brochure and events programme for £1.
