A FUN and therapeutic class with movement specifically designed for the symptoms of Parkinson’s has come to Dorchester to make dance and the arts accessible for all.

Dorchester Arts are working with Pavilion Dance South West to provide a Parkinson’s dance class that is specially developed to be fun, stimulating, motivating and challenging.

The sessions, led by trained specialists, will support the improvement of balance.

Mark Tattersall, artistic director of Dorchester Arts said: “One of our core aims is to provide arts activities for the whole community and we are delighted to be hosting this weekly class at the Corn Exchange.”

n Free taster sessions for the dance class are on every Tuesday throughout July from 3pm to 4:30pm at the Corn Exchange. Full classes start in September.
