A CHILDREN'S classic will be brought to the stage by Weymouth Drama Club later this year
Emil and the Detectives by Erich Kastner (adapted by Carl Miller) will be performed by the club between Friday October 28 and Saturday October 29 at The Pavilion Theatre in Weymouth.
The story tell of Emil, who sets off on a journey that changes his life.
The young boy believes he has lost everything when his money is stolen by a stranger. Emil and some new friends then set on an adventure to track down the thief.
The cast of Emil is made up of young people aged between seven and 17, and it's not too late to join them.
Anyone who is interested in joining Weymouth Drama Club Curtain Raisers and being part of the production should get in touch with director Jacqui Trent through Weymouth Drama Club's website.
