COMBINE the best known hits of The Police with classic tracks from Sting's solo career and you get an evening of essential listening at Weymouth Pavilion.
The Pavilion is playing host to a brand new tribute show on Friday September 16 at 7.30pm. Synchronicity UK have been rehearsing for more than a year for the show.
Synchronicity UK is a nine-piece tribute to the music of Sting & The Police featuring former members of the highly acclaimed touring tributes acts, And Finally - Phil Collins and The UK Pink Floyd.
The band recreate the incredible new wave music that moved a generation including an inspired version of The Police’s biggest selling single, Every Breath You Take.
Lead singer and keyboard player Rob Paull gives more of an idea of what to expect.
He said: "The evening will feature music from throughout Sting’s career, including early Police songs such as Roxanne, right through to latter classics like Englishman in New York.
"We’ve included all the main hits, as well as some contemporary Sting songs, so there’ll be music for everyone!’’
Synchronicity UK features acclaimed musicians from across the region.
The show starts at 7.30pm and tickets are available on the door, or in advance from the pavilion box office on 01305 783225, priced £17.50 for adults and £15.50 concessions.
