A UNIQUE and thought-provoking art exhibition exploring the changing relationship we have with the landscape is heading to Portland as part of B-Side Festival 2016.

From September 10 to 18, a whole host of artists, actors and performers are showcasing their talent at venues across Portland.

Weather Station Part II is an art project initiated last year as a 'mobile pavilion for the collection of images, objects and ideas' and will be showcasing everyday during the festival at Drill Hall on Portland from 11am to 6pm.

An artist-led response to flooding and extreme weather it explores the changing relationship we have with landscape and the natural world.

An organiser of the festival said: "Cumulative rather than collaborative, the structure passes from one artist to the next, gathering traces of its journey through the landscape of the South West."

Weather Station will bring together work by artists Laurie Lax, Laura Hopes, Elaine Fisher, James Hankey, Nicola Kerslake, Phil Smith, Stair/Slide/Space, Jethro Brice, Simon Lee Dicker and Alexander Stevenson (+ special guests Andy Webster & Darren Ray).

B-Side is an artist led arts organisation in Dorset that invites artist to respond to the county through their art form.

The festival, held by the arts project runs every two years to showcase the work of young people and local artists.

The arts organisation aims to support up and coming artists.
