SCULPTURE BY THE LAKES
PALLINGTON LAKES, NEAR TINCLETON, DORCHESTER
VOTED the top attraction in Dorchester on Trip Advisor, a visit to this 26 acre sculpture park is a tranquil experience.
Curated by Simon Gudgeon, these works are strewn throughout a lakeside environment with pieces thoughtfully situated to create introspection.
As you wander the park's many lakeside and garden paths, breath-taking installations on show include Isis, Dancing Cranes and Origins, pictured, which derived from an abstract shape, an S curve.
Work can also be viewed in indoor space The Gallery, which has plenty of smaller works on display.
No dogs or children under 16 are admitted, including babies. Book online for a 10 per cent discount.
