IT'S pantomime season at Preston Pantomime Group, which will be staging its half-term panto Little Jack Horner from February 14 to 18

The panto, by Paul Reakes, will be performed at Preston Village Hall near Weymouth.

When Jack, the naughtiest boy in Dame Dimwit's school, puts his thumb in a pie and pulls out the prize jewel in the royal treasure, everyone assumes he has stolen it.

Only Jack knows that the real thief is the wicked Lord Chamberlain, Graball, who is planning to steal the rest of the treasure with the help of Vasaleno's gypsies.

In true pantomime tradition, Jack manages to prove his innocence, the baddies are out-witted and all ends happily ever after.

This is the Preston Panto Group’s 39th annual production and will be raising money for local charities the Cavernoma Alliance, The Front, Steve Charles Help a Friend Fund, CLIC Sargent and the Dorset County Hospital Cancer Appeal.

Tickets cost £6 for adults or £4 for children. They can be bought in advance by calling 01305 834410.
