You're spoilt for choice with all the Easter-themed activities this weekend. Here's our pick of the top local activities if you're spending the break at home.

*JOIN Robin Hood and Maid Marian at Weymouth Pavilion as the stars gather for a spectacular panto.

This swashbuckling, arrow-slinging, tights-wearing comedy adventure stars Britain's Got Talent winner George Sampson, Tracy Beaker star Dani Harmer and Andy Abraham of X Factor fame. Andy, who was known as the singing dustman, is making a return to the resort after starring in the Weymouth Christmas panto.

There are two performances of Robin Hood, today at 2pm and today at 6pm. Call the box office for tickets.

*JOIN the 'new noise on the block' Ferocious Dog, at Bridport Electric Palace and help the homeless.

The band is organising a 'food drop' at their gig at the Palace tomorrow from 8pm.

Expect folk infused with rock, reggae and Celtic vibrations and some deeply personal songs.

*ARE you 16 years old, yet feel 21? Are you 40, but tragically faking 25? If so, Russell Kane's Right Man Wrong Age might be for you.

In this brand new show at Weymouth Pavilion tomorrow (15) night, the stand-up unleashes another blisteringly-funny, award-winning stand-up performance about growing up and growing down. Call the box office for tickets.

*ENJOY the spectacle of a sea of Easter bonnets in Lyme Regis on Easter Sunday.

The parade starts at 3pm from the Baptist Church in Broad Street and will be led by the Mayor finishing at the Jubilee Pavilion on the sea front.

There will be prizes in five age groups as well as those for ladies and gentlemen, and special prizes for the best under five entry.

*HEAD out to the Langham Wine Estate at Crawthorne near Dorchester for an Easter egg hunt with a difference.

This charity Easter egg hunt, being held tomorrow (15) from 11am to 3pm, is in aid of the Weldmar Hospicecare Trust.

Fifty per cent of the £5 door fee for adults goes to charity and kids go free and there will be lots of chocolate eggs hidden in the vineyards!

Whilst the little ones hunt for chocolate eggs amongst the newly pruned vines adults can enjoy sampling the range of Langham sparkling wine in the tasting room.

*IF you fancy a large scale Easter egg hunt, head to Poole park today (Good Friday), where the Poole Hospital charity will benefit from the first ever hospital hunt around the park.

The Easter trail starts at 11am along with other fun activities. All entries get bunny ears to take part in along with a hot cross bun, hot/cold drink and chocolate egg on completion. All children must be accompanied by a paying adult. Go to poolehospitalcharity.co.uk to buy tickets in advance.

*THE gardens at Forde Abbey in Chard will be turned into a fantasy landscape with elegant tea parties, a fretful white rabbit, the maddest of Hatters and a cast-list of characters straight from the pages of childhood dreams.

The fun starts today (Good Friday) and continues until Easter Monday.

*VISIT Abbotsbury Sub-tropical Gardens for a Giant Easter Egg hunt beginning today and continuing until Easter Monday.

The hunt is held daily from 10am to 5pm. The last admission is 4pm. Find a golf tee and exchange it for one of 8,000 Lindt Chocolate Golden Bunnies (max one bunny per person). Find a golden horseshoe and win a Giant Chocolate Easter Egg (two giant eggs each day). There will also be free family magic shows and free face painting.
