YOUNG dancers with intermediate or advanced experience are invited to take part in a summer school with Bridport Youth Dance,
It begins on Monday (7) and continues to Friday August 11 every day between 10.30am and 4.30pm at the Bull Ballroom, East Street, Bridport and Steps Studio, Crepe Farm Business Park.
Matthew Bourne dancer Danny Reubens will be teaching ballet and contemporary dance on the Monday.
Danny has recently been performing in New Adventures' acclaimed production of The Red Shoes, which toured the UK and prior to this performed in Bourne's Swan Lake, The Car Man, Lord Of The Flies, Nutcracker and Sleeping Beauty. Other teachers throughout the week include street dancer and choreographer Xavi Monreal (Pineapple Dance Studios), contemporary dancer Luke Robson and Tap Dogs star Craig Scott (Sinatra, Tap Dogs, Starlight Express).
Summer Dance Scene is an intensive week of dance for students at an advance/intermediate level and aged 13 years and over.
