IT'S a busy one this weekend

*DANCE away the weekend with Party in the Park at Lodmoor Country Park in Weymouth.

Taking place from 12pm to 7pm on Sunday, the line-up of talented local musicians includes Milk and Two, Blazin' Strings, Drive by Jammin', Peacock Suit, Toxic Fish, Cuba Libre and Under the Carousel, as well as Pop Club, Chris Bonney and Sister Fitness Clubbercise.

The event is the biggest fundraiser for for Weymouth and Portland’s community radio station AIR 107.2.

There will also be a bike park for cycles and dogs are welcome to join in the fun as well. The food court will include pizza, Mexican, crepes and a huge pick and mix.

Although the event is free, the AIR team is hoping people will show their support and buy a special wrist band for £1.

*ADDICTIVE TV take to the stage tonight (4) at the Corn Exchange in Dorchester.

Their project Orchestra of Samples features international musicians from Brazil, Senegal, China to Kazakhstan playing all manner of instruments in more than 25 countries.

*HAVE a roarsome good time with Dino Day at Portland Museum today (4) from 10am to 4pm.

Celebrate all things Jurassic and take part inactivities including making an ammonite and making a T Rex head puppet. It costs £4 a child and adults go free.

*FIVE giants of rock ‘n’ roll are coming together for a very special gig at Weymouth Pavilion tonight (4) at 7.30pm.

West End smash hit theatre show Be Bop a Lula starrs tribute acts celebrating musicians Eddie Cochran, Gene Vincent, Billy Fury, Buddy Holly and Roy Orbison.

*IT'S a busy weekend for the Borough Gardens in Dorchester.

The One World Festival will be held in the gardens from 11am to 5pm tomorrow (5).

Get ready for world music and dance, food, activities, and games.

On Sunday Dalton Town Brass Band will be performing on the gardens' bandstand from 2.30pm.

*SAMPLE food and enjoy music at the Dorset Food and Drink festival at Queen Mother Square, Poundbury, tomorrow (5) from 9am to 4.30pm.

Top chef Lesley Waters will be opening the festival at 10am and among the highlights are cooking demonstrations, entertainment from Dorset's Got Talent winner Shermieanne Bull, a meat auction and Pop Club - a teenage 12 piece band from Dorset.

*ENJOY a day of free family fun at Shortlake Lane, Osmington, near Weymouth.

OsFest begins tomorrow (5) at 12pm and features Morris Men, a dog show, live music, magic science for children and cream teas and a beer tent.

Come 6.45pm the big gig and barbecue will begin, with American guitarist Brooks Williams taking to the stage at 7.30pm.

*COMEDY legend Joe Pasquale is in town on Sunday with his show The Devil in Disguise.

Joe will be entertaining the audience at Weymouth Pavilion to tales of the four horseman of the apocalypse arriving on My Little Ponies, and what Action Man held with those gripping hands.
