A NEW comedy dining show which packed five star reviews in London’s West End comes to Poole in September.

The Wedding Reception from the makers of Faulty Towers The Dining Experience “transports audiences to the kind of party most of us have been to where doubts about meeting strangers becomes fully-fledged fun”.

There’s even a two-course sit-down meal with wedding cake for afters.

This two-hour comedy is immersive, highly improvised and as interactive as the audience wants it to be - a rollercoaster ride full of fun, frolics and more than a few surprises.

Will and Kate’s dream was for a small intimate wedding, so they tied the knot in a secluded registry office, turning up next for their quiet and romantic wedding dinner.

But Kate’s parents had been dreaming of something else entirely and ‘quiet and romantic’ are definitely not in their vocabulary.

The Wedding Reception is an immersive comedy written and produced by Interactive Theatre International, that’s appeared at Raffles Singapore and Australia, and now plays regularly in London’s Covent Garden and on tour in the UK.

The cast at Lighthouse is comprised of Rebecca Norris, Dave Tremaine, Stacey Evans and James Heatlie.

The Wedding Reception is at Lighthouse Poole from Thursday September 7 to Saturday, September 9.

Tickets £47 which includes drink on arrival, a three-course meal and the show. To book call 01202 280000 or visit lighthousepoole.co.uk
