SHE’S no Charlie’s Angel. Described as “a diva, temptress, vocal sensation and acrobat”, Charlie Bicknell returns to Dorset courtesy of Artsreach, with a new cabaret show titled, Fallen Angel.

Charlie first came into the spotlight playing Delilah in BBC2′s This Life, and subsequently starred as Scout in Ben Elton’s West End hit Popcorn.

Continuing to work as an actress for the National Theatre, Charlie moved into cabaret and started to devise her own work, performing all over the world from the living room of the Portuguese Embassy to the Sydney Opera House and The London Hippodrome.

Kerry Bartlett, executive co-director for Artsreach said: “Packed with anarchy, wit and comic ingenuity, mischievous interpretations of classical music, nursery rhymes and Tim Minchin songs are combined with alarmingly dexterous use of the Postman, to ensure that this is ‘a unique and hugely entertaining night out.’

“With a rebellious joie de vivre, acrobatic antics and accompaniment by pianist David Harrod, expect a magnificent evening’s entertainment full of darkly comic, twisted songs and theatrical flair.”

Please be aware, this show is suitable for ages 14 plus.

Fallen Angel is currently on tour of rural Dorset visiting Winterborne Stickland near Blandford at 7.30pm on Thursday, January 25 before moving on to Broadwindsor and West Stafford.
