COASTAL Comedy is set to host a monthly stand-up comedy show of live entertainment at Lighthouse, Poole’s Centre for the Arts, from April onwards.

Each evening brings together a line-up of three professional comedians including a TV headliner you might recognise from programmes such as Mock the Week (BBC2), 8 Out of 10 Cats (Channel 4) or Live at the Apollo (BBC1) in addition to a host, Bournemouth comedian, Adrienne Coles.

Providing a great opportunity to see famous comedians up close and personal in the intimate setting of the Sherling Studio at Lighthouse, Coastal Comedy’s friendly atmosphere is a great excuse for a night out.

Coastal Comedy was a finalist in this year’s Best Night Out category of the BAPTA tourism awards.

Launching the season on Saturday, April 21, look out for Phil Butler who will be using comedy, magic and a few other skills he’s picked up along the way to create his one-man variety show.

Opening the show is Sunjai Arif, an engaging comedy storyteller who will leave you “grinning from ear to ear”. Also appearing will be Nathan Eagle, finalist for Leicester Square’s New Comedian of the Year 2017 and Spinnaker Tower Gong Show winner.
