COMEDIANS Sara Pascoe and Mark Watson have been unveiled as part of the comedy line-up at this year’s Larmer Tree Festival.

Sara Pascoe will bring her unique brand of humour to the stage following the release of an award-winning book about femininity and sexuality, while Mark Watson will be making his first appearance at the festival since 2014.

Edinburgh Comedy Award nominee, Dane Baptiste, will also be on hand to further cement his place as an original and provocative voice, confronting and questioning both the personal and the political.

Other comedians announced include Jen Brister, Alice Fraser, Sean McLoughlin, Charlie Barker and Felicity Ward.

There will also be theatre and shows for all ages, from Nick Harper’s A Wiltshire Tale, to Living Spit, and unexpected pop up theatre throughout the festival, alongside surprises from Life Boat and Intergalactic Circus of Truths.

Edinburgh Fringe Festival acts will also be previewing at Larmer Tree, with performances such as Bubble Butt from Evelyn Mok, and razor sharp Rhys Nicholson’s Seminal.

Watch Athena Kugblenu’s dynamic comedy Follow the Leader and witness Matt Winning harnessing his knowledge as a practising environmental economist to create a high concept comedy lecture on climate change with Climate Strange.

New musical additions include Broken Brass Ensemble, Icelandic quintet Mammút, Flamingods, Chelou, Halo Maud. The Well Oiled Sisters will join up and coming artists Lilla Vargen, Noya Rao, Penya and Tom Speight to complete the live music offering.

They will join First Aid Kit, Jake Bugg, Public Service Broadcasting, Tune-Yards, Nadine Shah and Let’s Eat Grandma.

The Larmer Tree Festival takes place at Larmer Tree gardens from July 19 to 22. Tickets available from larmertreefestival.co.uk
