The fun and entertainment doesn't stop this weekend. Here's our guide to some wonderful live performances and a very big day out.

*SEE the stories of Shire Hall in Dorchester brought to life this weekend.

Theatre company The Gramophones will perform The Memory Museum at the historic venue tonight at 7.30pm and tomorrow at 2.30pm and 7.30pm.

The play focuses on the untold, personal accounts of Shire Hall, as told by the people of Dorchester - through rubber chickens, bubble wrap and silly hats, the cast evoke these different moments.

Tickets are £5 each and are available from Dorchester Arts through their website or via the Corn Exchange.

*ROLLERMANIA returns to Weymouth Pavilion tonight (27) at 7.30pm.

Les McKeown's Bay City Rollers call in as part of their UK tour.

This promises to be a unique voyage back to the 1970s, when Les and his legendary band ruled the world’s pop charts and the Bay City Rollers’ music became the soundtrack for a generation of teenagers.

*BE wowed by a new dance theatre production at Buckland Newton near Dorchester.

All the way from Norway, Panta Rei Danseteater: Promise of Departure is at the village hall tomorrow (28) at 7.30pm.

This double bill is created in collaboration with British choreographer Rachel Erdos and tours Dorset with Artsreach. Call 01300 345455 for tickets.

*THE world's last working Tiger I tank will be put through its paces in Dorset at the weekend - 75 years after being crippled by a lucky shot in the Tunisian desert.

Tiger 131, which will be roaring around the main arena at Bovington's Tank Museum on Saturday (28), was captured by the Allies after fierce fighting during World War Two.

*HAVE you ever wondered what a gig combining The Specials and Madness would be like?

Now you can find out when a Special Kinda Madness come to Weymouth Pavilion tomorrow (28) at 8pm.

Playing a set from each band and producing a show that will have the audience up and dancing from the off, Special Kinda Madness will have everyone hankering after that exciting era of 2-Tone and ska. Contact Weymouth Pavilion box office for tickets.

*HISTORY buffs should head to Winfrith Newburgh Village Hall tomorrow (28) evening for a talk on what Winfrith was like during both world wars.

Perilla Kinchin from Winfrith's History Group will be giving the illustrated talk.

A bar and light refreshments are available. Doors open at 7pm and the talk begins at 7.30pm.

*GO Bach to basics with rising stars of the European early music scene, Italian-based American violinist Elicia Silverstein and British harpsichordist and conductor Christopher Bucknall.

The pair will be performing Bach Before Leipzig at Dorchester Corn Exchange on Sunday (29) at 3pm. The works on the programme, which range from intimate and conversational to dramatic and toccata-like, from dance music to intense counterpoint, were all composed during Bach's time in Weimar and Cöthen, prior to his famed stay in Leipzig. *HIGHWOOD Garden at Charborough Park, between Bere Regis and Sturminster Marshall, is open on Sunday (28) from 2.30pm to 6pm.

The garden, which is full of rhododendrons and azaleas, is open in aid of the Children's Society and is the first open weekend of a series which will benefit local charities.

Admission is £5 for adults and £2.50 for children aged between six and 16. Refreshments will be available. Only guide dogs are permitted.
