A NEW season of drama launches at Lighthouse Poole this September starting with theatrical dining experience, The Wedding Reception from September 13-15.

The show includes a sit-down meal with improvised comedy by four actors playing nine characters in a two-hour show.

Next up Jane Austen’s most romantic comedy, Persuasion, is brought to the stage featuring a cast of actor-musicians from September 20-22.

Apollo Theatre Company and Spike Milligan Productions bring the timeless radio comedy The Goon Show to the stage for the first time from September 25-26.

Roundabout, the unique and intimate pop-up theatre experience returns with a new location from September 28-30 as Lighthouse partners for the first time with Arts by the Sea Festival.

The Roundabout tent will be situated outside Pavilion Dance in Bournemouth where it will host five plays, a Coastal Comedy event with three professional stand ups and a comedy club for kids. The three-day run starts with Ride! John Foster’s play about a racist murder by members of the Ku Klux Klan in 1998, and includes Bournemouth and Poole College production, Life and Death in an Ocean Full of Hope.
