A radio comedy classic is stopping in Dorset.
Apollo Theatre and Spike Milligan Productions will bring The Goon Show to the stage of the Lighthouse, Poole, 67 years after its debut on the BBC Home Service.
The Goon Show was first aired in 1951 and is best known for its beloved characters, surreal humour, running gags and fantastical plots.
The producers who are bringing the Goon Show to the stage are known for their critically acclaimed 50th anniversary tour of Round the Horne.
You can see The Goon Show live at Lighthouse, Poole on Tuesday, September 25 and Wednesday, September 26 at 7.45pm.
