There's plenty of outdoor fun to enjoy this weekend. Read on for your essential Guide.

*THE fourth annual Dorchester Cider Festival returns to the Borough Gardens tomorrow.

It starts at 3pm and runs until 10.30pm.

The event is organised by the Dorchester Round Table and this year's cider village will consist of more 10 different cider producers from the region, including, West Milton Cider, Bridge Farm and Twisted Cider.

Acts confirmed to perform on the bandstand are Danny Adams at 3pm to 4pm, followed by The Riffs at 4.30pm to 5.30pm. Crowd favourites The Leggomen are playing at 6.30pm and the headliners The Skimmity Hitchers will provide a barnstorming finale to the day from 8.30pm til the close.

*THIS weekend will mark 10 terrific years of a country fair hosted by actor Martin Clunes.

Buckham Fair returns on Sunday and is set to the event’s best year yet as organisers prepare to take a break.

The fair, which combines a dog and pony show with a food and craft fair showcasing regional producers, is held on the Clunes’ land near Beaminster.

Huge sums are raised for good causes each year.

This year, Mr Clunes is set be reunited again with his Men Behaving Badly co-star Neil Morrissey, who has been invited to judge ‘The dog even more like Neil Morrissey competition’.

*TURN back the clock at the Nothe Fort in Weymouth with a Victorian Weekend.

Award winning living history group the Ragged Victorians will be re-enacting the lower classes of Victorian England, c1851. The Nothe Fort Victorian Artillery will be in attendance, firing their Victorian Cannons and muskets. They will be an inspection by Queen Victoria, at the start of the day on the both days. The fun takes place from 11am to 5pm tomorrow and Sunday. Admission is £8 for adults and £2 for children.

*A WIDE range of music can be heard at Weymouth Pavilion this weekend.

Tonight at 7.30pm sees West End smash hit Be Bop a Lula come to town, starring five giants of rock’n’roll – Eddie Cochran, Gene Vincent, Billy Fury, Buddy Holly and Roy Orbison.

Head to the pavilion’s Ocean Room for a Soul Cellar Disco Night from 8pm. Stevie G and Dave ‘DJ’ Jackson will be

spinning all the favourite soul sounds from the last 50 years.

Tomorrow at 7.30pm is the big one when Showaddywaddy take to the stage, having recently celebrated their 40th anniversary.

On Sunday, if you think he’s sexy, get yourself to Weymouth Pavilion at 7.30pm for Some Guys Have All the Luck, a Rod Stewart tribute with Paul Metcalfe.

*A MIX of puppetry, storytelling, live music and comedy comes to two Dorset venues this weekend.

Durlston Country Park will be hosting family-friendly show Tales from the Trees this afternoon and tomorrow it goes

to Child Okeford Village Hall.

The performances come to Dorset courtesy of Artsreach, the country’s touring arts organisation.

Squashbox Theatre was founded by Craig Johnson, a member of the Cornish Kneehigh Theatre company, which has been creating work for children and families since 2007.

After the show there is an opportunity to take part in a craft workshop, creating moving card puppets or sea creatures, piskies and faeries, dinosaurs and cavemen.
