AFTER captivating audiences for ten years in the West End and following an international tour, Evita visits Bournemouth with a brand new cast for a five night run next week.

Telling the story of Eva Peron, wife of former Argentine dictator Juan Peron, Evita follows Eva’s journey from humble beginnings through to extraordinary wealth, power and iconic status which ultimately lead her to be heralded as the ‘spiritual leader of the nation’ by the Argentine people.

Saying ‘Hello, Buenos Aires’ for the first time is Lucy O’Byrne in the iconic role of Eva Perón, with Mike Sterling as Juan Perón and, award-winning West End leading man, Glenn Carter as Ché. They will be joined by Oscar Balmaseda and Cristina Hoey.

Evita features some of the most iconic songs in musical theatre, including: Don’t Cry For Me Argentina, On This Night of a Thousand Stars and Another Suitcase in Another Hall.
