Join Jethro at Lighthouse

A HIT in the various Dorset venues where he regularly performs, Cornish comedian Jethro makes his Lighthouse debut next month.

The two shows at the Poole arts centre will also be filmed live for his new stand-up comedy DVD, Too Late to Grow Up, which is set for release later this year.

Jethro has only appeared on television nine times in his career, including making record-breaking back-to-back appearances on the Des O’Connor Show in the early 90s. The success of appearing on these shows brought a massive nationwide audience to his quirky and irrelevant humour about all things Cornish.

Since then Jethro has gone on to record 18 chart-topping videos and DVDs and has played live to over three million people.

Colin Rozée, who will be directing and producing the DVD and who has also worked with the hit rock’n’roll show That’ll Be The Day, said: “It’s great to be coming back to Dorset to make this programme.

“I remember the audiences in this area very well from my time working with That’ll Be The Day and I know they are going to love Jethro’s new material.

It’s always a lot of fun filming Jethro’s shows, and we are hoping to have an audience that will join in with the production.”

You can see Jethro at Lighthouse in Poole on Wednesday and Thursday, July 22 and 23 and tickets are £15. Call 0844 406 8666 or visit lighthousepoole.co.uk for bookings and full details.

Please note that due to the adult nature of the show, there is an age limit of 18.
