WHAT: remains of historic castle that took a pounding in the Civil War.
WHERE: Corfe village near Wareham.
OPEN: 10am until 4pm daily.
COST: £8.50 plus concessions and family rates.
FACILITIES: pay and display parking nearby, mobility parking on site, disabled toilets, push chair access to the castle although the grounds are uneven and hilly, licensed tea room, gift shop, dogs allowed on leads.
DETAILS: Atmospheric castle ruins with plenty to entertain and fascinate all ages. This half term there are plenty of special activities including a teddy bear zip wire, plus a series of Castle Quest challenges to complete.
