AN OPPORTUNITY for adults who love theatre and performing is on offer at Bridport Arts Centre on Saturday, April 21.
Renowned performer, dancer and choreographer Niki McCretton will be running a workshop in Physical Theatre.
Limited to just 15 places, the introductory workshop will give participants an insight into this theatre style.
Kate Wilson, who is Bridport Arts Centre’s learning co-ordinator, said: “This is a great chance for keen performers to try something really different and new.
“Physical Theatre goes beyond words.
“It incorporates visual and physical elements into a performance, often using skills actors already possess and harnessing those skills to make fascinating work.
“Niki has been working with our Youth Theatre, BACStage, for several terms inspiring the young people to devise and create their own work for performance.
“This workshop will give adults a chance to join in the fun.”
The introduction to Physical Theatre workshop will run from 10.30am to 1.30pm.
Tickets are £15 or £12 concessions and can be booked through the Box Office on 01308 424204.
The Box Office is open from Tuesday to Saturday between the hours of 10am and 4pm.
