Raise the roof then catch a wave at Marine Theatre
Raise the roof then catch a wave at Marine Theatre
A BARNSTORMING spring ceilidh is set to raise the roof at the Marine Theatre in Lyme Regis tomorrow.
The dance music will be provided by Red Shed, one of the best local five-piece ceilidh bands around featuring the traditional sounds of the banjo, fiddle and whistle, mixed with the modern sounds of saxophone, drums and bass guitar.
The ceilidh starts at 8pm and tickets are £7.50. On Sunday, the UK Beach Boys will be starring at the seafront venue from 8.30pm. With a history of 60 singles in the US music charts, and 32 singles in the UK charts, The Beach Boys occupy a unique position in our memories when we fondly recall the music of yesteryear.
Tickets for the UK Beach Boys are £13 in advance or £14.50 on the door. Call the box office now on 01297 442138 to book tickets for both these events.
