A HOST of big band and swing classics are in store as Swing 'n' Sinatra take to the stage at the Tivoli Theatre, Wimborne, tomorrow at 7.30pm.

Fronted by Simone Smith and her husband, Chris (from The Glenn Miller Band) the set covers artistes such as Frank Sinatra and Glenn Miller through to Jools Holland's more contemporary style.

Simone, who sings and plays lead alto saxophone in the band, has also played with the likes of Paul Weller and John Williams, as well as appearing on the Paul Merton TV show.

Band leader Chris sings and plays trumpet and piano.

His varied career includes performances on Top of the Pops and in the Michael Caine film Silver Bears. His father, Chris Senior, played trombone for Sinatra on his European tours.
