Annual arts and crafts show in village hall
AN arts and crafts exhibition and sale will be held at the village hall, Whitchurch Canonicorum from tomorrow until Sunday, August 10.
This annual event was started nearly 30 years ago by a group of serious artists to show their work and by 1983, not only were paintings on show, but pottery, soft toys, jewellery, metal work, patchwork and books were available.
Many of those early contributors are no longer with us.
The exhibition will be open Tuesday to Saturday 10.30am until 5pm and Sunday from 10.30am to 4pm.
Light refreshments will be served.
