Travelling through Greenhill in Weymouth at a snail’s pace due to the constant queues, you have time to look out over the tennis and bowling pitches.

You can see that these sports are minority and, quite frankly, the space can be developed as private condominiums and brought into the 21st century.

Some of the huge profit can be ploughed back into the gardens which have long lost their lustre, probably due to any lack of capital from council, a once-proud gardens not unlike Sandsfoot Castle Gardens of old.

On the subject of cycling along that particular stretch of promenade, how can the council allow a motorised vehicle to travel along a narrow stretch and then go to exclude cycles?
